DEBBIE DOAK – Co founder & President
Debbie has held positions in management, sales, and marketing with a variety of organizations including start-ups, privately held, and FORTUNE 500 companies.
Prior to founding The Sales Zone, Debbie was vice president of vendor management programs at COMSYS, Inc. where she was responsible for designing, developing, and launching a vendor consolidation and service delivery solution for IT consulting services. Before working at COMSYS, Debbie was regional vice president of sales for Norrell Corporation, a $2 billion Strategic Workforce Management Company. Debbie began her career at Xerox as a sales executive. Later she moved on to Pitney Bowes Management Services where she sold complex business process outsourcing solutions in the U.S. and Canada.
During her sales career Debbie has sold to a variety of industry sectors including the federal government, technology, oil & energy, professional services, utilities, insurance, banking, law firms, simulation, and clean tech, among others.
Debbie holds a B.S. in Finance from Virginia Polytechnic and State University.

KIM COLE – Co founder
Kim has held positions in sales, human resources, and management in organizations that include professional services, start-ups, and FORTUNE 500 companies.
Immediately prior to founding The Sales Zone, Kim was a global alliance vice president at Spherion, Workforce Architects, Inc. where she was responsible for sales and service at America Online and the American Red Cross. Prior to Spherion, Kim was both a human resources manager and an outsourcing sales executive at Pitney Bowes Management Services. During her sales career she has sold business services and technology offerings to industry sectors including professional services, state and local government, insurance, high-tech, new media, associations, law firms, clean tech, business simulations, and training. Kim is fluent in Spanish and has lived and traveled extensively in Latin America.
Kim holds a masters degree in human resource management from The George Washington University, and a B.A. in Latin American Studies and Spanish from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

CHRISTINE ZANE-OTT – Head of Sourcing & Research
Chris held various positions in human resources prior to joining The Sales Zone. During her career, she acquired extensive experience in HR management while assisting in the development of three divisions for FORTUNE 500 companies. Chris’s career started with DuPont as an HR generalist where she helped grow the company’s Medical Products Division and was involved in recruiting nearly 5000 employees–from executives to Ph.D.-level research scientists to lab technicians. When DuPont joined with Merck, she was asked to assume the role of Affirmative Action–Work/Life Officer for the combined entity. Other career roles include human resources generalist for Johnson Matthey, director of human resources for Fluidics, and regional human resources manager for PSE&G Energy Technologies. Chris brings an array of knowledge and experience across numerous industries including banking & financial services, pharmaceutical, government, energy, business services, and training & performance improvement, among others.
Chris studied at Southern Cal and obtained her PHR Certification from the Society for Human Resource Management. Chris continues to stay current with trends in recruiting through ongoing coursework in Internet-based research and sourcing.

KELLY DOUGLAS – Recruiting Executive
Before joining The Sales Zone, Kelly held various positions in sales, recruiting and management. Her sales career began with the American Red Cross where she supported the organization’s Biomedical Services division. After the American Red Cross, Kelly worked at two large staffing firms handling both recruitment and sales. She has helped companies of all types realize their talent acquisition goals and has sold or recruited in the following industries: aviation, professional services, IT and industrial. Kelly’s previous roles bring extensive knowledge in all aspects of full life cycle recruiting and sales as well as deep understanding of recruitment enabling technologies.
Kelly holds a B.A. in Communication with a focus on Public Relations from George Mason University.
